I'm glad I use my own domains as emails now.

I had a Gmail account that I got locked out of (Had two-step verification, but didn't have access to my old phone number to be able to log in) and I contacted Google Support, filled out the questions, and apparently I didn't provide enough information to prove it was me...

Even though my IPs matched up, I was on the same computer I usually logged in as, etc.
Not to mention, how am I supposed to remember the exact month I registered my account? That was almost 4 years ago.

AND, how am I supposed to remember the exact day/month I logged into the account?

They should really make a different way to recover accounts.
They're easy enough to hijack, but when you need to recover, it's hard to get back.

Who needs sleep when you have programming

I've been learning programming languages since I was 11-12 years old, (17 now) and once I found out about Bucky, I don't think I'll ever learn any other way again.

I've read books, documentation, been to CodeCademy, school courses, etc.
All of them suck as forms of learning compared to Bucky's tutorials.
He makes it entertaining, easy, and just overall pretty great. He explains in great detail, and still has a comedic side to it.

Not to mention, this site as a whole is pretty amazing.
A social network (that's actually pretty well laid out), set up for programmers, computer lovers, etc. alike.

And, the fact of knowing it's made by someone like Bucky, and not some corporation that monitors your every move, and is biased, doesn't care about the users, etc. makes me happy as well.

I respect the people who actually want to learn the ins and outs of a computer instead of just using it for Facebook/Twitter/etc.

People who want to learn how to make their own programs/etc.
People who want to learn how it all works.

And, especially if they want to learn how to program a computer.

And, actually take the time to do so. Instead of just saying "hur hur I wanna learn but don't have the time" ,
because in reality if they have enough time to post on Facebook and watch videos on YouTube and play games, they have time to learn. They just choose to stay ignorant.
