Emulator problem

0 Arif Omanović · September 17, 2015
I have watched many Bucky's videos about Android development for beginners, but while watching him how he is launching his virtual devices in Android studio I have some problem when I try to do the same. I have installed all Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator packages in SDK manager but when I start my virtual device it shows an error:

Cannot launch AVD in emulator.
Output:
emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!

Please help me what to do?
Thanks.

Did you enable Intel VT-i in your BIOS? (in case you have Intel processor, of course)

while tutning on your pc proceed to bios setup and that can be done by hitting the F10 button...
Then you will find Virtual technology, turn it on...
That should fix thye problem
