If you have never installed a VM on that device before, is visualization initialized on the motherboard/CMOS/UEFI?

These occurs frequently.. I honestly can's say there is a direct fix for this.
1. if you have been using graphical install, try using the non-graphical method
2.you could burn the iso to a cd and try
3. Deactivate your antivirus...this sounds weird....hahahaha but sometimes works actually
4.http://docs.kali.org/network-install/kali-linux-network-mini-iso-install  follow this link to use the mini iso
5. you could wait for kali 2.0 tommorow and try.

Try it out and let me know your opinion.  I dare not install it.

Who knows how many backdoors or automated escapes it may have in it.

I am curious how much more evil it is. I mean tools are tools in the end of the day.

Darkc0d3 is a much more evil version of Kali.   It is a bit of an underground ISO.  I have seen it on sourceforge, but I have no trust in them.

Again this is why I don't like Kali.

You can try changing hypervisors too but Kali at best is an unstable operating system.

If you give up on this try backbox. It's actually stable!

Sorry, but this is very little to go on.  If you can show screenshots/video of each step you are taking, maybe I can see what is going wrong.   What link are you downloading the ISO from?
