End of time for Unity, Java and Silverlight?

0 Cardinal Coog · July 31, 2015
The good people at Google have decided that Chrome will no longer support apps created using NPAPI. This includes apps developed using Unity 3d, Java and Silverlight.

There is a temporary work around until Chrome version 45 is released later this year (2015).  Here's a link to Google's reasoning/explanation and the temporary work around.

Any thoughts?

That's the thing. It won't update or download via chrome (I have to use a different browser), and it won't even run on chrome at all.

So this is only temporary?

& Java has stopped working with chrome for me all-together since like last summer.
