U have many options:

Sublime
Brackets
Atom
WebMatrix(only windows)

First 3 you need to add plugins to config for Node

Enjoy ^^

Bucky says you should use Intellij Webstorm, but that is like 50 benjamins if that is cool for you.

I've been using sublime, cause that is a free IDE. Works fine for me.
I see your post is old, you might have already opt something for yourself. Still, thought i'd be cool to help.

About

Node.js is a platform built on Chrome’s JavaScript runtime for easily building fast, scalable network applications. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient, perfect for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices.
