Enabling HAXM for Android Studio

0 Marcelo Sasso · July 25, 2015
Hi everyone, today I started following the Android Studio tutorial videos, and I already found myself with a problem. My processor is an AMD E2-3800 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics that of course doesn't support the HAXM since it's meant to be for Intel processors. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C55D-A. Does anyone have a solution?

Get a real android Device or a new computer. Borrow a computer if necessary.

First, enable developer mode for the Android device for third party apps. Then connect your device to your computer. Then go to run configurations and select your device.
