Sending PHP mail with AJAX functionality

0 Ian Arbuckle · June 8, 2015
Hey folks,

I was looking around to see if there is any AJAX functionality where I can send form data to email without having to reload or redirect the user to another php/html page. I suppose some of you may have tutorials or resources around this?

Actually no tutorials. I think you should watch the ajax tuts bcuz you should have basic knowledge how ajax works.
You can send variable like mailer name, mailer message and why not mailer subject and send them through ajax to your mail.php (or whatever you like to call it) and finally use the mail() function of PHP to send the message

@Sampan: Cheers for your post. I managed to do a little bit of research and playing around with AJAX functionality. Managed to implement it using mailgun so all is good.
