Hey guys I just watched the newest tutorial on networking (part 25) and have a question If I do the maths correct.

If my IP address would be: 194.169.0.42 //made up numbers
And the subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

would that mean that since the submask is 24 times a 1 and 8 times a 0, the 8 last binary digits / the decimal number 42 is the amount of hosts in the network 194.169.0?

Just to make sure I'm not doing it wrong^^
