I have a question

Let   y= x+x+x+x+x+x.............................................x times.
Now we have to find dy/dx?

so ,by first way:
dy/dx= 1+1+1+1+1......................................................x times
dy/dx=x.

By second way:
y can be written as x^2
y=x^2
dy/dx =2x

how is answer different by 2 ways???:D

dy/dx=x.  wrong!!!!

example

y = x^3 + 3x + 2

dy/dx = 3x^2 + 3 + 0
