Parsing multidimensional arrays (without initially defining its dimensions) into a function.

I am finding it hard to parse a multidimensional array without dimensions into the function. Can you please explain how it can be done... Thank you.

I managed to pass the array in using what is called a compile-time constant.

i.e 

const size_t MAX = 50;

Pretty sure this cant be done. Multidimensional arrays must have bounds for their dimensions when they are initialised.

If you provide an example code for what you are trying to accomplish, might be able to help more.
