SyntaxError: Non-ASCII character '\xc3' in file....

I'm  using PyCharm, community Edition 4 and I get an error when I put accented characters. So if I write print ("Elyse") I get this error "SyntaxError: Non-ASCII character '\ xc3' in file....."But if I write Elyse without accent, it works. Is there a configuration has to be completed for use accented characters?
Just a clarification. I note that this forum does not accept any accent. So,  the first "Elyse"  should normally have an accent and the second Elyse does not.

Thank you for helping me to solve this problem that never occurred with Python Idle
