Hey Ainesh, isset function determines if the variable has been made available. We often use isset with $_GET global variable. Lets say we have a form and we have a php codes to be executed if and only if the form has been submitted. We can use isset() to determine if the form has been submitted by saying isset($_POST['submit']) where submit is the name given to the input type submit like this <input type="submit" name="submit" value="Register"> Hope its clear. Basically, isset checks if the variable has been set

PHP Manual : "Determine if a variable is set and is not NULL."

So, if you have a form like in the videos, you check if the user has filed out the field that he submitted.

It just checks if a variable has a value set to it.

Yep, the isset() function can accept any number of arguments which can be variables, array elements, or string elements and will return true if all arguments passed are set and not NULL.
