Where does JAVA_HOME go in the environmental variables? User or System variables and what is the difference? It can work in both?

JAVA_HOME goes to "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_05\" (example) and is a system variable. The difference between them is that the system variables are for every user and the user variable for the current user. Together you will get the environmental variables for the application.

Thanks, the reason I asked is because I have seen on youtube some use user and some use system, they both work.
