Visual Studio 2012

I have Visual Studio 2012 installed on my machine. Will this tutorial be similar enough that I can follow along in Visual Studio?

Also if you use VS 2013, you'll likely need VS 2013 Desktop for the tutorials since the other editions are for Windows 8 Metro apps and/or Web app development.

I recommend starting with a smaller IDE as Visual Studio can be a little confusing for new users. When I got started with C++ I used code blocks and Borland. I'm not sure of a smaller IDE made specifically for C# but google probably has the answer

2013 FREE community version is officialy out, google it. and yeah, not much difference for them.
