From what I've been told by some buddies of mine, two 'Cengage' books come to mind as being the top dogs of that category...
Beginning C++ Through Game Programming, 4th ed. Michael Dawson
Game Programming All In One,
3rd ed. Jonathan S. Harbor
I got them in hopes after I get decent at regular C++ programming, I can upgrade myself to that area, (I plan on making some Zelda, Metroid & Final Fantasy games for the kids )
