Can someone explain about multi threading in C.

Generic information from a somewhat new programmer.
Multithreading allows your code to do multiple things at once, each is handled on it's own thread.
For instance when I made a chat program, the server side needed to create a new thread for each user connected and "listen" for messages sent to the server so it could send it to the appropriate client.
I used Java for this.

If you want to use threading in C, see the manual page for pthread (type man 3 pthread in your terminal).
