Hi guys! Im new to C++ but now I decided to learn it well enough to understand and make audio synthesis application with it. The problem is, I dont know where to start learning. Anyone have any tips or can help me get my feet wet are much appreciated.
My main objective is being able to use code written by other people to make C++ files that can be used in my projects in Unreal Engine. I am not interested in reading wave files or any similar format, since this is easily done within Unreal Engine anyway.
What I want to learn is how to make true audio synthesis, generate sounds by math, not by reading it from a file, and be able to change parameters in the program itself. For example, make a sine wave and be able to tweak the frequenc inside a game made in Unreal Engine in runtime.
Anyone out there that can help me achieve my goal?
