Spinner slows down the application

Hello
I am a newbie in java android..
I develop my first application,it contains 3 widget an imageview ,a textview and a spinner
When I launch the application the behavior of the spinner is very low.i even not used it.
This the logcat 's contents  when i run
I/OpenGLRenderer: Initialized EGL, version 1.4
D/OpenGLRenderer: Swap behavior 1
W/art: Verification of void android.support.v7.view.menu.MenuBuilder.flagActionItems() took 192.479ms
D/gralloc_ranchu: Emulator without host-side GPU emulation detected.
I/Choreographer: Skipped 216 frames!  The application may be doing too much work on its main thread.

and if i remove the spinner i have no problems.Only if  i put  a spinner or a listview  on the activity_main.xml
  I see the message I/Choreographer: Skipped NNN frames!  The application may be doing too much work on its main thread.
The MainActivity.java

package com.example.shayw.testframe;

import android.support.v7.app.AppCompatActivity;
import android.os.Bundle;

public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity {

   @Override
   protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
       super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
       setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

   }

}

Thanks

The code you posted is the default so that tells me that the problem is with the layout.
Where are you putting the spinner?
If you started with a Basic Activity then the spinner needs to go in the Content Layout.

I am glad you fixed your problem, and I am curious about the solution.
Which AVD and  what API/ system image caused the problem?
Which AVD and what system image resolved the problem?
Did you change anything else?

i don't remember and i removed it  from the list i think it was the Nexus 6 API  24.
But now i tried to reconstitute the bug and the AVD works . I verified with other  AVD from the list and they work too.
So i don't why now it works.
