I need HELP with placing words NEXT TO an image!?

+7 Jake Maynard · July 3, 2016
I want to be able to place words next to a photo or image for an about me page on my website.

                                                              [ PIC ]     |    [ Words here ]

                                                                    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
                                                                Something like that.

Pretend that the | is the CENTER of my website. How could I make sure the image or photo stays on the same plane as the text?
Thank you if you can help me!!!!

There are many ways to do this but one of the least difficult methods is utilizing the position command in CSS.

html code

<div>
<img src="#" />
Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
</div>

css code
img{
   float:left;
}

You could also do:
<main>
<img src=''/>
<div style="center spacing"></div>
<p></p>
</main>

<p>
        <img src="images/pic1.jpg" alt="my image">
        <span>Your text goes here</span>
</p>

Wrap the image and the text with a paragraph tag. Note: The span tag is wrapped around the text for easy styling with css
