Binary File in C++

All files are stored in binary. You just need to open and read in binary. I don't know exactly what you mean but if you need to read/write to a file you read this.
For storing variables, you could write a parser and then load them into actual variables.
Used in many types of software including music players, video games, and many large scale applications.
