Loading Animation While Page Loads Tutorial - jQuery/HTML/CSS

+4 Kaveh Greenwood · August 3, 2014
Wrote my first tutorial. How to hide content and display a loading animation until the page is fully loaded. This uses a tiny piece of jQuery and HTML. CSS is used to style the 'loading' content. Written for beginners!

As this is my first tutorial, please leave feedback here or on the post on what I can do to improve writing and explaining for others.

It looks very beginner friendly, I might even try it out once I finish watching jQuery tutorials.

Thank you Robert & Predrag!

Robert, I will definitely take those into consideration when attempting to write another. Once I get home from work I'll try and clean it up a bit too. Thanks again.

I use the same style sheet. I used overflow-x: auto; for the code blocks but it doesnt' seem to take to well on mobile.
