Edit: My bad, misunderstood the question.

So you have them listed as a scientific name and you want those listed before the others. Just read from the file, line by line, and if the line contains scientific name, write to the file, first write a new line, then write the line at the top, (don't forget to replace the current line with an empty string by writing "" to the file on that line).
