Selenium Error: The system cannot find the file specified

+4 James Kon · December 28, 2015
I am using Selenium on Python 3. I used the super simple code below:

from selenium import webdriver
driver = webdriver.Firefox()
driver.get("http://www.google.com")

However, I get a ton of errors. I am at a loss here. In short, the error is:

FileNotFoundError: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified

I recently switched all my documents to my external hard drive. It used to be on flash drive. After seeing this error I'm convinced something is wrong with my file placements, so I uninstalled Python, and reinstalled. Also I reinstalled PyCharm. However I am still getting this error.

To see the full errors that it gives me, here is the paste: http://pastebin.com/Ggqmis4b

my wild guess is that you must use httpS://google.com

Try more different websites e.g. https://thenewboston.com/, ...

just figured out that original post is from december 2015 (3 months ago) ... -_-
