All you should have to do is go to command prompt and type in "D:" and then "dir" to show files in that driver.

This "/" says Apple to me so I don't know the commands for Apple.
In Windows you would issue the command cd D:\ and then dir to see the contents of D:
Look for a change directory command for Apple.
