Any suggestions on configuration/preferences for notepad++ to work with javascript?  I've set the language and themes but I all I get is Black on White background.  No keyword color change, autofill etc.

The notepad++ editor doesn't recognize the code you're writing in until you save it in ".js" format.

If you did do that then, I'll show you a screenshot of my settings.

I do believe that you need to save the file as a .js file before it will give the color context changes you are looking for.
