+1 Flip po · November 2, 2015
Hi,

I try to run AVD but get this error:

C:\Users\Rick\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\tools\emulator.exe -netdelay none -netspeed full -avd Nexus_5_API_8
emulator: WARNING: Requested RAM size of 1536MB is too large for your environment, and is reduced to 864MB.
Failed to allocate memory: 8
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

What to do about this?

Greetz

Make Sure your system's atleast 1GB ram is free for Android Studio & Emulator

Go To SDK folder -> extras -> intel -> haxm -> run setup
Setup your HAXM RAM as per your pc availability.

Now Create AV-Device and choose processor x86 intel atom,
and Set your AV- Device Ram Less than HAXM Configured...
Now Run, Its Definitely Working.
