Problem with avd

+1 pro Protik · October 30, 2015
I installed intel HAXM separately using sdk manager
when I try to run AVD
shows this error

Cannot launch AVD in emulator.
Output:
emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!

I feel there is 3 possible reasons for this error:

1. You may not have installed HAXM module.
2. You may not have enabled VTX on your system. this can be done via updating settings in BIOS.
3. You may need to install 'intelhaxm-android' on your system. You can find this setup on the following root path 'C:\Android\sdk\extras\intel\Hardware_Accelerated_Execution_Manager'

Hope this helps you.
Cheers.

Make Sure Your System's 1GB RAM is  free for Android Studio and Emulator.
Now Configure HAXM RAM.
After Configuring HAXM, Create AVD and use Processor  Intel x86 atom and Setup Virtual device Ram Less than HAXM Assigned.
So that Your Emulator Starts Working Quick & Faster.
                                                            or
You can use External Emulator Genymotion, Genymotion is faster than any other Emulators.
